Another Lonely Day  Ben Harper

Ben Harper - Another Lonely Day
Tuning: DGCFAd (tuned down a step)
Chords shown relative
Playing the high "d" string is optional. I tabbed it without the "d" string because, in
the version from his album, Ben Harper doesn't play it at all. In the Ben Harper/Pearl
Jam version he does play the "d" string. Playing it makes the song easier. You choose
d = down stroke
u = up stroke
\ = first beat of measure
' = other beats in measure
* means that most of the time Ben doesn't play that note, but you can throw it in for
flare or totally ignore it. Do
whatever you like.

Start slowing down at "lonely" and keep slowing until last "G" chord is strummed slowly.
Lyrics:
Verse 1:
Yes indeed I'm, alone again
And here come emptiness, crashing in
Its either love or hate I cant find in between
Cuz I've been with witches and I have been with a queen
Chorus:
It wouldn't have worked out anyway
So now it's just another lonely day
Further along we just may
But for now its just another lonely day
Verse 2:
Wish there was something I could say or do
I can resist anything but the temptation from you
But I'd rather walk alone then chase you around
I'd rather fall myself then let you drag me on down
Repeat Chorus:
Verse 3:
Yesterday seems like a life ago
Cuz the one I love today I hardly know
You I held so close in my heart oh dear
Grow further from me with every fallin' tear
Repeat Chorus:
Outro:
For now it's just another lonely day
For now it's just another lonely day
Enjoy,
Todd
