I'll just put the chords in for the verse and chorus and then your can just fill
in the second verse so it will save me time.
INTRO: A,A2,A3,A2 (Same as verse)
VERSE 1.
When the do[A]llar made with b[A2]lood is spent,
When an e[A3]nemy can't bec[A2]ome a friend.
When the be[A]tter man won't [A2]lend a hand,
Baby, th[A3]is is how the w[A2]orld will end.
When a day of hope is a rarity,
Or a diplomat hasn't time to see
That a child lost is a true offense,
Baby, this is how the world will end.
CHORUS:
Bring a c[A5]hair up to the ta[A]ble.
Bring a m[A5]essage to the cr[A]owd.
Where's a co[A5]mmon trust to de[A2]liver us from the w[Asus4]retched and the proud?
Sing a t[A5]une about the pr[A]omise.
Speak on t[A5]hat which we d[A]epend.
And if a ce[A5]rtain light don't s[A2]hine again,
Baby, t[Asus4]his is how the world will end.[A]
VERSE 2.
When the poorest kid is fending for himself,
Or the widow cries, but she gets no help.
When we know what's true, but we still pretend,
Baby, this is how the world will end.
CHORUS.
SOLO.
CHORUS:
Bring a chair up to the table.
Bring a message to the crowd.
Where's a common trust to deliver us from the wretched and the proud?
Sing a tune about the promise.
Speak on that which we depend.
Now let that certain light come shinin' then,
Baby, we could change the world again.
But if that certain light don't shine again,
Baby, this is how the world will end.
Well thats what I think is the best way to play it and the most accurate.
I'm still in music school so I'm still learning but my ear is pretty well, I just
don't know the names or the chords yet.
