Here Comes My Man  The Gaslight Anthem

Here Comes My Man - The Gaslight Anthem

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Standard Tuning
Capo 1
The other chord version on here was a little to high for my voice, so I
rearranged it a little. You can use this as a solo acoustic version, but it
works to play along with the song as well. And thanks to Torn_Asunder for
submitting the original version that I based this off.
Chords used:

If I w[Dadd9/F#]anted to I could start [A]over again
Let the g[F#m7]ood night decide who she wa[E]nts me to find

You know I [Dadd9/F#]think I will grow my [A]hair back out
Neverm[F#m7]ind what you think, nevermin[E]d what you like
I'll take it o[Dadd9/F#]ut to the streets for somebody e[A]lse to admire

Maybe t[A]ime will tell you why I got [F#m7]so much hell to sell you
Please, p[Dadd9/F#]lease understand me

But I ju[F#m7]st won't be there to st[Dadd9/F#]and through it
Not one more [F#m7]minute will I st[Dadd9/F#]and through it [E]

Extra optional stuff:
These are just a couple things I like to do to add a little more to the song.
Notice how the intro riff looks a like it will fit nicely onto the A chord?
Well it does! When playing the A in the intro, you can instead play an
Asus4 A Asus2 A riff. This works in the verses throughout the song as well
and sounds pretty cool.
You can also play around with this concept in the chorus as I will diagram
below. Note for space reasons I will just write A2 for Asus2(x02200) and
A4 for Asus4 (x02230).
Singing [A2]oh [A]sha [A2]la [A]la, o[Dadd9/F#]h sha la la, li[A]sten honey, [A4]here [A]comes [A2]my [F#m7]man
