So following that rhythm the rest of the song goes like this, for the verses use the
rhythms above, just use the chord names as markers. The chords in the chorus are played
un-arpeggiated, and as barre chords, whereas the chords in the bridge are too
un-arpeggiated, although they are in the open form. BEFORE I get anyone criticising my tab for
having A
C# chord rather than C#m, it's just used to symbolise the octave chord.
Verse 1:
[B]I drive this[C#] car through the city every nig[Aadd9]ht
F#m7 Riff Asus2
There's a quiet I never heard before
[B]And lonely, my sister cou[C#]ld not describe[Add9]
F#m7 Riff Asus2
All the good things gone wrong
Chorus Variant 1:
[A]And there was blood on my teeth
[F#m]
[A]Bones broke in half
[A]A stain on my shirt
[F#m]
[E]And all good things come to an end
[B5]And all memory has left my bone[C#5]s[Bm(4)/A]
Interlude:F#m7 Riff Asus2
Verse 3:
[B]If I [C#]drove straight off this bri[Aadd9]dge

Only God and my baby would know

F#m7 Riff Asus2
With some fella who just said the right thing
Chorus Variant 2:
[A]And there was blood on my teeth
[F#m]
[A]Bones broke in half
[A]A stain on my shirt
[F#m]
[E]And all good things come to an end
Bridge:
[Dsus4]See all I can do is think about you[F#m]
And miss [Bm]all your kisses like the spring[A]
[E]But if I had a sign
That one day you'd be mine again, oh no[Dsus4]
[F#m]If I could hold you right then[Bm] [A]
A[E]s the chill in this season sputtered and spit and died with...
Chorus Variant 3:
[A]Blood on my teeth
[F#m]
[A]Snow tumbling down on the ground
[F#m]And me stumbling out of my heart

Finding cherry blossoms on the hood of my car
