Jefferson Jericho Blues  Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

Jefferson Jericho Blues
Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers
Questions/ Corrections: drop me a line!
Off their new album MOJO
Key of A (use major pentatonic for improv.)
MUSIC FYI: Mike Campbell, at the suggestion of Tom, used only a 1959 Gibson
Les Paul on MOJO, as opposed to his collection of Rickenbakers and
hollowbodies, to mix up the sound of the record. I saw the Heartbreakers
live with CSN in 2010 and all of the MOJO tracks, along with all of the
Heartbreakers set, sounded absolutely phenomenal.

Old Tom Jefferson loved the little maid out back
Midnight creeping out to the servant shack
Kept his secret under the bed, wrapped in a burlap sack
Well I drove all day and night out to Jericho
But in my second mind I knew it was time to go
Yeah and I still get nervous every time that bugle blow
