Let My Words Be Few  Matt Redman

Song: Let my words be few
Album: The Fathers song
Artist: Matt Redman
(c) 2000- Survivor records
CHORDS:- Please note, I have made up some of the name of these chords
to suit my own purposes. They aren't accurate as chord names, especially
the F/C which is really a C/F but I just cant be bothered to change the 100
or so F/C's!
G 320033
G/Eb 3X1033

Yes I'll[G] stand in[F/C] awe of[Em] you[C]
And I'll l[Am7]et my w[Em]ords be f[Caad9]ew
[Am7]Jesus [Em]I am [Caad9]so in [D]love with [G]you
[Am7]Jesus [Em]I am [Caad9]so in [D]love with [G]you
Right - at about 3:27 on the Cd, there is a break. Matt picks the strings
like this. Its never all picking , sometimes he strums parts of it,
particularly the Em and C. Listen the the Cd to hear what I mean
[G] [F/C] [Em7] [Cadd9]
 E 3 --------------1-------- 0--- --------------------------
 A -------------------------------- -----3------------------
 D ---0---------------0-------2----------2-----------------
 G ----0---------------0-------0----------0----------------
 B -----3 (let ring)-----1-------1----------3---------------
 E --------------------------------------------------------

Alternate between the picking and strumming at will!
So the chords for the break at 3:27 go like this.
[G] [F/C] [Em7] (I[Cadd9]'m in Lo----ve)
I'm so in love with yo[G]u [F/C] ooh yea[Em7]h [Caad9] Jesus I'm in love
G F/C Em7 caad9
I love you Lord
G F/C Em7 caad9
(NOTE:- no definite lyrics here - just beautiful layered voices)
And [G]I'll stan[F/C]d in aw[Em]e of you[C]
Yes[G] I'll sta[F/C]nd in a[Em]we of yo[C]u
Yes I'll [G]stand in [F/C]awe of [Em]you[C]
Yes I'll [G]stand in [F/C]awe of [Em]you[C]
And I'll l[Am7]et my w[Em]ords be f[Caad9]ew
[Am7] Jesus [Em]I am [Caad9]so in [D]love with [Caad9]you[G]
[Am7]Jesus [Em]I am [Caad9]so in [D]love with [G]you
(Same pick pattern as before)
[G] [F/C] [Em7] [Caad9] So in Love with you
[G](The voices [F/C]return!)[Em7] [Caad9]
[G] [F/C] [Em7] [Caad9]
And I'll l[Am7]et my w[Em]ords be f[Caad9]ew
Am7 Em Caad9 D G (Pick pattern again!)
Jesus I am so in love with you
The end pick pattern is slightly different!

As you can see I have really changed that much from Chris P's version,
except for 2 obvious things. Firstly, on the album there is a bass ascend
on the first G - up to Eb. This is not played on the guitar but on a piano,
but play the chord I have written and It sounds alright. Secondly, listening
to the chorus, there is definitely an F in there. I reckon there are 2
guitars, one playing the F/C and the other playing the C. But that's just
my opinion....
