Melt My Heart to Stone  Adele

Melt My Heart To Stone (Acoustic)
Standard Tuning
EADGBe
So, I basically got this from the video that came with the iTunes CD.
I'm pretty sure it's right. There's no capo so it's all good.
:)
intro
Em7 A D Bm 2x
[Em7]Right [A]under my [D]feet there?s [Bm]air made of bricks
[Em7] [A]Pulls me dow[D]n and turns me we[Bm]ak for you[Em7]
I f[A]ind myself repea[D]ting like a br[Bm]oken tune
And [Em7]I?m for[A]ever excu[D]sing your inte[D7]ntions
And [G]I give in to [F#]my pretendings
Which for[Bm]give yo[F#]u each t[Bm]ime
[D]Without me [Em7]knowing
They [A]melt my heart to [D]stone
And I hear your [Bm]words that [Em7]I made up[A]
You say my name like [Bm]there could [Em7]be an us[A]
I best tidy up [Bm]my head I?m the [Em7]only one[A] in lov[D7]e
I?m the [G]only one in [F#]love
[Em7]Each [A]and every ti[D]me I tu[Bm]rn around to leave[Em7]
I [A]feel my hear[D]t begin to bu[Bm]rst and bleed[Em7]
So [A]desperately I [D]try to link it [Bm]with my head
But [Em7]instead I [A]fall back to my kne[D]es
[D7]As you [G]tear your way right [F#]through me
I f[Bm]orgive you [F#]once ag[Bm]ain
[D]Without me know[Em7]ing
You?ve [A]burnt my heart to [D]stone
And I hear your [Bm]words that [Em7]I made [A]up
You say my name like [Bm]there could [Em7]be an u[A]s
I best tidy up [Bm]my head I?m the [Em7]only [A]one in l[D7]ove
[G]I?m the only one in [F#]love
[B]Why do you [A]steal my hand
Whenever [B]I?m standing my own [A]ground
You [G]build me [D]up, then leave me [F#]dead
[F#7sus4]Well
I hear your [Bm]words y[Em7]ou made [A]up
So I say your name like [Bm]there could [Em7]be an [A]us
I best tidy up m[Bm]y head I?m the [Em7]only o[A]ne in l[D]ove
I?m the [G]only one in [F#]love

These chords are not very close to the original, I would try something more like this:

Verse progression:
Em7 / A7 / | Dmaj7 / B7 / | x3
Em7 / A7 / | Dmaj7 / D7 / |

Pre-chorus:
Cmaj7 / / / | G / / / |
C#7sus4 / / / | Bm7 / A7 / |
Em / A7 / | Dmaj7 / / / |

Chorus:
Bm7 / Em / | A7 / / / | x2
Bm7 / Em / | A7 / A7(b5) / |
D7 / / / | Bbdim7 / / / |

Verse pattern again

Pre-chorus:
Am7 / / / | D / / / |
C#7sus4 / / / | Bm7 / A7 / |
Em / A7 / | Dmaj7 / / / |

Chorus pattern again

Bridge:
B / / / | A / / / | x2
G / / / | D / / / |
C#7 / / / | F# / / / |

Chorus pattern again.

It's not 100% accurate, but I think it's a lot closer. Most of the chords are barred.
