Verse 1:
[G]If both our lives pulled us a[G2]part and we were stuck on [D/F#]both coasts,
I wo[Cadd9]uld still find you.[G] Every night you'd fall asl[G2]eep and I would meet
You in yo[D/F#]ur dreams, three-thousand m[Cadd9]iles away.
[Cadd9] [D/F#] [Em]
It'[D]s not perfecti[Cadd9]on, But we've come so far. Tell me now, tell me you believe again. Well,
I can see you w[D/F#]hen I close my eyes, it[Em]'s complicated, but I'll mak[D]e it that simple.
Chorus:
[G]Your pictures are the paper that lines my wall, I'm[G2] waiting for the
Moment you come back,[D/F#] I'm tearing out the pages of my heart
[Cadd9]And what you need is wh[D]at you'll get from me. (X2)
Verse 2:
[G]Not at the end of the ro[G2]ad, I'd be with you each[D/F#] day, every [Cadd9]step of the way.
[G] [G2]
[D/F#]I know it's late[Cadd9], this took too long, but I would write you this song, now could you listen to me?
[Cadd9] [D/F#] [Em]
If not[D] for moments, what's this life we lead? Tell me now, tell me you believe again.
[Cadd9]Three-thousand miles was ju[D/F#]st too far, it's [Em]complicated but I'll [D]make it that simple.
CChorus:
[G]Your pictures are the paper that lines my wall, I'm[G2] waiting for the
Moment you come back,[D/F#] I'm tearing out the pages of my heart
[Cadd9]And what you need is wh[D]at you'll get from me. (X2)
Bridge:
[G]Well, maybe I could [G2]tell you that everything was [D/F#]okay, it was al[Em]right.
[G]Take me in on the in[G2]side and we could make it alr[D/F#]ight. Oh-[Em]oh-oh
Chorus:
[G]Your pictures are the paper that lines my wall, I'm[G2] waiting for the
Moment you come back,[D/F#] I'm tearing out the pages of my heart
[Cadd9]And what you need is wh[D]at you'll get from me.
You can end however you like. They do the little thing with the Mac voice, but whatever.
I am not positive on the chords in the bridge. Well, I am not positive about the whole thing,
this is my first chord thinger. But this is how I play and I think it sounds good enough to
pass. I'm gonna put a cover up on youtube sometime so you could check that out if you
really want to.
