O Holy Night  Misc. Christmas

[C]O holy night, the [F]stars are brightly [C]shining;
It is the [C]night of the [G]dear Savior's [C]birth.
[C]Long lay the world in [F]sin and error [C]pining,
Till he ap[Em]peared and the [B7]soul felt its [Em]wo[G7]rth.
A [G]thrill of hope, the [C]weary soul rejoices,
For [G]yonder breaks a [C]new and glorious morn.
[Am]Fall on your [Em]knees, Oh, [Dm]hear the angel [Am]voices!
O [C]ni [G]ght di[C]vine [F],
O [C]night [G] when Christ was [C]born!
O [G7]night di[C]vine[F], O [C]night[G], O night di[C]vine!
Led by the light of faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
O'er the world a star is sweetly gleaming,
Now come the wisemen from out of the Orient land.
The King of kings lay thus lowly manger;
In all our trials born to be our friends.
He knows our need, our weakness is no stranger,
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!

Truly He taught us to love one another,
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains he shall break, for the slave is our brother.
And in his name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
With all our hearts we praise His holy name.
Christ is the Lord! Then ever, ever praise we,
His power and glory ever more proclaim!
His power and glory ever more proclaim!

Chords have been placed above the lyrics. I play this arpeggio - one of my favorite christmas songs!

The chords were not directly above the lyrics so it was hard to know when the chord transitions were.
