Peaceful Easy Feeling  Eagles

Peaceful, Easy Feeling by Eagles
This is my first but I think it's pretty accurate, based on my own ear and
observing a couple of videos of Eagles themselves playing it. Scroll to the
bottom for chord fingerings and other information.
Intro: E Esus4 (x4)
Verse 1: [E]I like the [A]way your sparklin' [E]earrings [A]lay
[E]against your [A]skin so [B7]brow[B7/A]n
[E]and I want to [A]sleep with you in the [E]desert to[A]night
[E]with a billion [A]stars all a[B7]round
Chorus: 'cause I got a [A]peaceful, easy [E]feelin'
[A] and I know you won't let me [F#madd4]down[B7]
'cause I'm [E]a-[F#madd4]already [A]standi[Asus2]n'[B7]
on the [E]ground
Interlude: E Esus4 (x2)
Verse 2: [E] And I found [A]out a long [E]time a[A]go
[E] what a woman can [A]do to your [B7]sou[B7/A]l
[E] Ah, but [A]she can't take you [E]any [A]way
[E] you don't already [A]know how to [B7]go.
Chorus: And I got a [A]peaceful, easy [E]feelin'
[A] and I know you won't let me [F#madd4]down[B7]
'cause I'm [E]a-[F#madd4]already [A]standin[Asus2]'[B7]
on the [E]ground
Instrumental verse (verse and chorus progressions)
Verse 3: [E] I get this [A]feeling I may [E]know [A]you
[E] as a [A]lover and a [B7]frie[B7/A]nd
[E] but this voice keeps [A]whispering [E]in my other [A]ear
tells me [E]I may never [A]see you a[B7]gain
Chorus: 'cause I got a [A]peaceful, easy [E]feelin'
[A] and I know you won't let me [F#madd4]down[B7]
'cause I'm [E]a-[F#madd4]already [A]standin'[B7]
I'm [E]a-[F#madd4]already [A]standin'[B7]
yes I'm [E]a-[F#madd4]already [A]standin'[B7]
on the [E]groun[F#madd4]d[A] [Asus2] [B7]
Outro: E F#madd4 A Asus2 B7 (x2)
end on E

The F#madd4 chord in particular was clearly visible in an Eagles video, as
were the A-Asus2 and B7-B7/A changes. There are other ways to play F#madd4
but I think this is the easiest, which is probably why Frey chose to use it.
They definitely play this in the key of E, but on the studio recording from
Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) they aren't tuned to concert standard
(A=440hz), or to anything else that makes sense, like a half-step flat. I
find that if I set my tuner to A=433hz it comes out just right. The same is
true of Take It Easy, so my best guess is that whatever they tuned to in
the studio was off a bit. Play this along with the studio recording and
you'll see what I mean.
This is a modification of another entry I found here, but I can't remember
whose it was. Constructive criticism is most welcome. Enjoy!
