Silently Elliot Minor
This is my first song on this 'new' account. I only just discovered Elliot Minor
and this is a beautiful song. I notice the other versions were quite off and
sloppy so I thought Id give it a go. Played with the actual track and its right
there I think.
This is my version and I think it works great! It has gone through quite a few
modifications and the only bits left out are personal flavour (Best to add your
own if you feel it in there :P)
I use Capo on 4th Fret - Nice simple Chords
The Cm7 is played like this - E-3,A-3,D-2. Also play the C with the same pinky on the E string.
Verse 1
[C]Take your swing and [Em]fall
[C]pass through the turn [Em]table
[Cm7]And for the first time, I s[Em]tand there so far a[C]way[Em]
And some will [D]say
Chorus
So [C]si[D]len[Em]tly, you [Am]make this [Em]day, so [F]unreal and never [C]ending,
Standing [F]on the edge [C]believing,
That [Dm]this will never [C]end.
Short Instrumental Break - Em - C - Em - C
Verse 2
[C]As the day gets [Em]older I hear your [C]voice,
Em (One Strum)D
Nothing stays for free.
As the [Cm7]rain keeps falling, I [Em]hear you calling my [C]name.[Em]
And some will [D]say
Chorus (get ready to ramp it up with the powerful E)
So [C]si[D]len[Em]tly, you [Am]make this [Em]day, so [F]unreal and never [C]ending,
Standing [F]on the edge [C]believing,
That [Dm]this will never [E]end.
Dm E (Pump)
That this will never end.
Bridge
[Am]Silent[E]ly, so [C]si[D]lent[Em]ly,
you [Am]live for [E]me, so [C]sil[D]ent[G]ly[D] [Em]
Short Break Again ? C - D x4
So [C]si[D]len[Em]tly, you [Am]make this [Em]day, so [F]unreal and never [C]ending,
Standing [F]on the edge [C]believing, this way[D].
Chorus
So [C]si[D]lent[Em]ly, you [Am]make this [Em]day, so [F]unreal and never [C]ending,
Standing [F]on the edge [C]believing,
That [Dm]this will never [E]end.
That [Dm]this will never [E]end.
[Dm]This will never, [Dm]this will never [C]end.
