Uummannaq Song  KT Tunstall

KT Tunstall - Uummannaq song

 ----------------------------

I couldn't find a tab or chords for this incredible song of KT's new album,
so I decided to make one myself, with a little help from the KT Tunstall forum
(thanks to 'smash275').
For this song KT uses a 2-string guitar on which she actually just hits one note
each time (the bass note of course).
In the verse she hits each note and mutes it right after that.
This tab below is an indication of the tune she's playing.
I think B D E part is quite accurate, but I'm not sure about the B A G A and A A parts.
If anyone's got suggestions please comment.
In the verse and bridge she strums each note.
I prefer to just strum the entire song (on acoustic guitar) in the chords given below,
but since not everyone might agree I put this little tab together.
Hope you'll like it.
Enjoy!

[Verse 1]
Hold your [Bm]fire
I'm coming [D]out and I'll [E]tell you the [Bm]truth
I was [D]trying to [E]raise my [Bm]roof
Did you [A]see it
That I [G]needed [A]to [Bm]prove
That my [D]stinger [E]always [Bm]stays
You said she's [D]beautiful [E]when she [Bm]plays
Did I [D]hit you in the [E]proper [A]place
[A] Suddenly
[Cborus 1]
[G]I, oh well [A]I could live in this [F#m]town
Five [G]cold years before I
Yes [A]I could live in this [F#m]town
[G]Before I head for home
Bm D E (2x)
[Verse 2]
It's my [Bm]turn
With the [D]spotlight [E]burning a [Bm]hole
But my [D]bird-heart's [E]turning [Bm]cold
As the [A]temperature [G]rises [A]all [Bm]around
To the [D]sound of a [E]ticking [Bm]bomb
And then it's [D]not just [E]showing off [Bm]here
You know [D]there's [E]something going [A]on here
Going [A]on here
Suddenly
[Cborus 2]
[G]I, oh well [A]I could live in this [F#m]town
Five [G]cold years before I
Yes [A]I could live in this [F#m]town
[G]Five cold years
Yes [A]I could live in this [F#m]town
Five c[G]old years before I
Well [A]I could live in this [F#m]town
[G]Before I head for home
[Bridge]
(mute)
And considered it odd
That I ever [Bm]stayed
ever [A]stayed
That I ever [Bm]stayed
ever [A]stayed
That I ever [Bm]stayed
ever [A]stayed
That I ever [Bm]stayed
ever [A]stayed
You know that [Bm]feeling you get
when you [E]don't want to [D]leave
That [Bm]feeling you get
when you [E]don't want to [D]leave
That [Bm]feeling when you don't want to leave
[Bm] Suddenly
[Cborus 3]
[G]I, oh well [A]I could live in this [F#m]town
Five [G]cold years before I
Yes [A]I could live in this [F#m]town
[G]Five cold years
Yes [A]I could live in this [F#m]town
Five c[G]old years before I
Well [A]I could live in this [F#m]town
[Outro]
[G] Uummannaq[A] [F#m] [G]
[G] Uummannaq[A] [F#m] [G]
[G]Before I head for home
(mute)
And considered it odd
That I ever stayed
