Deer  Manchester Orchestra

I don't think this is how it's actually played but it's a way you can
play it without a capo or tuning down.
All chords are bar chords. Start with an A along with the "ahs" and then
play the chord while bending the note on the a string every once in a
while. Listen to the song for the rhythm.
[A]Half a year and here you are again[D]
[A]I'd go out in public if no[E]body ever asked
[A]I sit home and drink alone and h[D]ope that bottle speaks
Like y[A]ou, like [E]us, like [A]me
[A]Half a year again, now it's a whole[D]
[A]February stationary [E]from you on the wall
[A]And I sit home and plead the throne t[D]o speak, to speak, to me, to me,
To [E]me, hasn't s[D]aid a single[A] thing
[A]You're probably too busy with your work[D]
[A]Or am I just excusing you for [E]leaving me alone?
There's [A]nothing in these wooden drawers to [C]bring you back, or to keep me bored
I [A]don't know what to [E]do with [D]me no [A]more
[F#m] Dear [E]everyone I [D]ever really knew[A]
[F#m] I acted [E]like an asshole so [D]I could keep my [A]edge on you
[F#m] Ended up [E]abusing [D]even those I [A]thought immune
I [D]killed the kingdom with [A]one move and [D]now it's time to move
[A]Dear [D]everybody that has [A]paid to see my band
[A]It's still c[D]onfusing, we'll[E] never understand
[A]I acted like an [D]asshole so my a[A]lbums would never burn
But I'm [F#m]hungry now, and the [E]scraps are [D]dirty [A]dirt
I'm [F#m]hungry now, it's in the [E]scraps of [D]dirty [A]dirt
