You should just variate this stuff out.
For the Am, I use Asus2, Asus4, A, Amaj7, and everything excpet the A-kitchen sink.
Same with the F.
I kinda move around the chord shapes like Southern Man does.
Also, throw the Am in the 5th pos., and the F in the 8th pos., as well as the
3rd pos.
Additionally, timbres, muting, and up/downstrokes can count for A LOT. Smack
some stuff out near the bridge, whilst others up by the neck.
Do what you can, for it's the same two chords over and over again my love,
whoops wrong tune.
The Solos
In SOLO II & SOLO III there tends to be some haphazard spots. This is fortunate
as it makes this, what I believe, one of THE best solos ever. It's all feel and push in
this one.
So I didn't attempt to figure out where he hammered-on and pulled-off, or
straight picked out, thus do what you feel like at varying times.
