Babydoll  The Fratellis

Yeah so.. All of seen of this song on here is inaccurate versions or people claiming you
a capo.. Which you dont (:
So here's my accurate tab for the chords and one of the riffs.
I will attempt to transcribe all of the lead guitar at a later date
Standard tuning - EADGBe
Chords used - A, A/G#, F#m, Bm, E,
C#7, D, B7
For those of you who do not know what i mean by a A/G#, it is purely your box standard A
with a G# bass added. A nice touch when descending to an F#m.
The chord should therefore look like this E A D G B e
4-0-3-3-3-0
[A]Babydoll do you bel[A/G#]ieve they'll catch you w[F#m]hen you fall
[Bm]And when morning comes the sun is gonna sh[E]ine[D] [E]
[A]Don't forget your mino[A/G#]r keys your half lit ci[F#m]garette
[Bm]Cause when morning comes god knows that you'll be m[E]ine
[A]So let me in[C#7] I'm ready to b[F#m]eg and to s[E]ing for my s[D]ins
[F#m]Not leave it to ch[E]ance and sweet coinciden[D]ce

[A]Well they sa[A/G#]id you was long g[F#m]one

[C#7] [D] [A] [D]
I[D] ju[E]st laughed and said good night guess it's alright
[A]Babydoll the men who [A/G#]hang like flowers in the [F#m]hall
[Bm]Are asking when your love is gonna [E]show[D] [E]
[A]And who knows why[A/G#] the love your need
[F#m]Will always pass you by
[Bm]Well I heard it's true your love is gonna gr[E]ow
So let me [A]know cause I [C#7]can stay or h[F#m]oney I[E] can [D]go
Just t[F#m]o wherever [E]you tell me [D]so
And find my [B7]place there and there I'll s[E7]tay
Well the[A]y said yo[A/G#]u was burne[F#m]d out I just[C#7] laughed
And [D]said come on sh[A]e's not burned she's jus[D]t gone
[A]And it took [A/G#]me too long til[F#m]l I found out[C#7]
Face[D]s that you know t[A]he best oh well I gues[D]s
[A]And they laug[A/G#]hed when you sai[F#m]d you was leavi[C#7]ng
Ever[D]ybody knows you we[A]ll except for me can't y[D]ou tell
[A]And you watch[A/G#]ed from the wings [F#m]of the late show [C#7]roses
[D]By you're feet of red [A]all for me you said[D]
Babydoll...
From here on the opening sequence is repeated over & over to fade.
(A, A/G#, F#m, Bm, E)
Over this sequence there are two distinctive riffs.
The first of which is tabbed below:

 e----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 B----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 G--2-----2h-4/-6\-4-2-1-----------2-----2h-4/-6\-4-2-1-----------------|
 D-----------------------4------------------------------4---------------|
 A----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 E----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 e----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 B----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 G--2-----2h-4/-6\-2-1-----------1--------------------------------------|
 D---------------------2-------4----------------------------------------|
 A----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 E----------------------------------------------------------------------|

This is played twice and is then followed by a second, different riff which i have still
transcribe.
h = Hammer-on
/ = Slide up
\ = Slide down
Do not hesitate to e-mail me with any errors i have made or with any of this missing
i have yet to transcribe.
Not bad for my first tab ehh? (:
