Dagger Woods  The Stanfields

Dagger Woods - The Stanfields
This is my first submission to UG.com, so any suggestions welcome. I couldn't get
the intro and solos, so I'm hoping someone else can chime in here.
Capo 3
Intro
Sorry, I haven't figured this out yet, maybe someone can be kind
enough to tab it out.
Verse 1
Oh, [Em]Out in the woods not long ago, outside a town ten miles or so
[Bm]Man and wife and two small babies, [D]camping in a [A]glade
[Em]On an Indian Summer getaway, a weekend full of rest and play
[Bm]Tuckered out from their full day, now [D]sitting 'round a [A]fire
[Am]But lurking in the shadows was a demon, with a big 'ol set of [Em]eyes
And an [Am]appetite for souls, like these, feeding time t[Em]onight
They [Bm]never heard it coming, they [Fm]never saw it coming
They were never seen or heard from [A]again
Chorus 1
The Hidey[Em]-Hinder, through the gates of[D] Hades
Overcame [Fm]Daddy, and took the mama and [A]babies
The Hidey-[Em]Hinder done took 'em [D]good
Back to its [Fm]lair, deep in Dagger [Em]Woods
[Em] [D]
Verse 2
Well, The [Em]tale begins hundred years, through the countless days and hours
When the [Bm]golden plow first broke the land, [D]folks started dis[A]appearing
The [Em]locals swear beyond a doubt, it came over on the first rowboat
The [Bm]bloodthirsty monster, they [D]call the Hidey-[A]Hinder
An [Am]old world apparition hitched a ride, to the new world in dis[Em]guise
[Am]Supernatural baggage in the hold, from a hard life left be[Em]hind
[Bm]If they knew what they was bringin', I [Fm]sure would not be singin'
'Bout people never seen or heard a[A]gain
Chorus 2
The Hidey-[Em]Hinder, from the old world [D]nations
You've reigned in [Fm]terror, for seven gener[A]ations
Oh Hidey-[Em]Hinder, I wish I [D]could
Prove you [Fm]exist, deep in Dagger [Em]Woods

Verse 3
Now [Em]let's go back to the present day, to a prison far the other way
To a [Bm]broken lonely man, that [D]lonely man is [A]me
I [Em]told the judge what I?m telling you, said "such a thing cannot be true"
He [Bm]locked me up for murder, and [D]threw away the [A]key
[Am]He said the only monster that he's seen, sits right before his [Em]eyes
He s[Am]tared me down, Shook his head, and condemned me
As a sick man telling [Em]lies
I s[Bm]houlda seen it comin', shoulda [Fm]known that it was comin'
Now I?ll never see the light of day a[A]gain
