There?s a phaser used in this riff(maybe an autowah too), that?s what gives it
that underwater sound. The period (.) means staccato the note. This riff is
played first over top of the second chorus, then throughout the rest of the song
from the 2:55 mark on to the end. It is most prevalent right after the bridge.
