Helena Beat  Foster the People

So, on the other tab the timing was sorta off (and the lyrics were pretty wrong)
so I've decided to write it down the way I play it. So here you go, its not
creative but it sounds alright and you can sing to it :)
- CAPO 1 (but it sounds alright without capo) -
[Em]Sometimes life it takes you by the hair
It [D]pulls you down before you know it
[D]Its gone and you?re dead again.
[C]Ive been in places and I w[D]ont pretend
That Id [G]make it out just to f[D]all on my head
[Em]Wake up strange and take the walk downstairs
Hit the [D]pawn up on the corner and pay for my rent
[C]You know that I could not [D]believe my own truth
Just [G]show them what I choose, got [D]nothing to lose
[Em]Yeah yeah and its O.K.
I tie m[D]y hands up to a chair so I dont fall that way.
[C]Yeah yeah and Im a[D]lright.
I took a [G]sip of something poisoned but Ill h[D]old on tight.
[Em]You know those days when you want to just choose
To [D]not get out of bed, youre lost in your head again.
You [C]play the game but you [D]kind of cut
?Cause youre c[G]oming down hard and your j[D]oints are all stuck.
[Em]Ive tried to say that it's not the only way
I n[D]ever knew if I could face myself to change.
You[C] were pacing I was [D]insecure.
Slip and [G]fall, Im dodging calls, h[D]ug the prison Ive been living in.
[Em]Yeah yeah and its O.K.
I tie m[D]y hands up to a chair so I dont fall that way.
[C]Yeah yeah and Im a[D]lright.
I took a [G]sip of something poisoned but Ill h[D]old on tight.
