Cars Not Leaving  Gabriel Bruce

Hi, this is my first tab for a great song...the other version on here was pretty
good but not quite right for me. I've also tabbed out the intro riff, it might not
be in the right octave, but you can work it out. Enjoy!
Intro riff (x2):

 e|--------------------------------------------------|
 B|--------------------------------------------------|
 G|--------------------------------------------------|
 D|--10~--10-10--------------------------------------|
 A|-------------12-10~--------10-12------------------|
 E|---------------------10-12-------12--10--8~-------|

VERSE 1
There's a g[C]ame that's always pla[Am]yed
And alw[F]ays won by fo[G]ols
But e[Em]veryone I kn[F]ow
Would r[C]ather never play than lo[G]se
There's a pl[C]ace where the innocen[Am]t stand
Prou[F]d before the firing sq[G]uad
There's a ch[Em]urch at the end of the p[F]ath
Where the s[C]ign reads beware of the G[G]od
Bridge:
[Am]And there's you in the alley
[F]And there's me walking away
[C]Those three words still hang in the air
[G]That I swore I would never say
CHORUS (x2):
[C]So hold on now, Just hold on a minute
[F]This car's not leaving if you're not in it
[Am]You've no idea how lucky we are
[F]A would that deep would normally scar
Intro Riff (x1)
VERSE 2
I he[C]ard there was a place where the li[Am]ght
[F]managed to cut through the d[G]ark
But th[Em]at was just a sto[F]ry for children
And my ch[C]est is just a grave for my h[G]eart
There's a p[C]hone that's always ri[Am]ngin'
[F]Answer, and a child will [G]say
I'd rather t[Em]ake my own l[F]ife
[C]then give it awa[G]y
Bridge:
[Am]And there's you under the west way
[F]for to hide from the rain
[C]And I'm taking your picture
[G]To be sure that I'll see you again
CHORUS (x2)
But I've se[Am]en willows holding hands
heard bi[F]rds sing in harmony
The bodi[C]es of water are caressed by land
And the ri[G]ver's mouth is kissing the sea (alright!)
Sax Solo:
[C] [F] [Am] [F]
CHORUS (repeats and fades out)
And that's about it! As much as I can make of this great song! Any corrections
just comment, thanks! :)
