It Is What It Is Lifehouse
This is really just a "first stab" at it because I noticed no one else has
tried yet. I'm not 100% sure on the F# for the verses, but it sounds close
if it's not right. Those chords for the chorus seem to work spot on as far
as I can tell though.
Verse 1:
[C#m]I was only looking for a s[E]hortcut home
But it's c[B]omplicated
So compl[F#]icated
[C#m]Somewhere in this city is a r[E]oad I know
Where we[B] could make it
But[F#] maybe there's no making it now O[B]h ieooheio
Chorus:
[E]Too long we've been denying
[B]Now we're both tired of trying
[C#m]We hit a wall and we can't g[A]et over it
[E]Nothing to relive
[B]It's water under the bridge
[C#m]She said it, I get it
I guess it[A] is what it is
Verse 2: (Same as verse 1)
I was only trying to bury the pain
But I made you cry and I can't stop the crying
Was only trying to save me
But I lost you again
Now there's only lying
Wish I could say it's only me
(Chorus)
[E]Here it comes ready or not
We [C#m]both found out it's not how we thought
That[A] it would be, how[B] it would be
[E]If the time could turn us around
What [C#m]once was lost may be found
For [A]you and me, for [B]you and me
(Chorus)
[C#m]I was only looking for a s[E]hortcut home
But it's c[B]omplicated
So compl[F#]icated...
