Theme From Nice Guy  Paul Dempsey

This Tab was originally tabbed by timusus but it was a bit incomprehensible.
What i have done is reformat the chords on top of the songs and change the chord
names to the ones relative to the capo. Kudos to timusus for figurng out the chords.
~Capo 3~
The chord diagrams are relative to the capo, i.e. the capo is on 3, which will be 0.
G G2 Bm Cm* G Em D C Am
3 0 2 3 3 0 0 0 0
3 3 3 5 3 0 0 1 1
0 0 4 4 4 0 0 0 2
0 0 4 5 5 2 2 2 2
2 0 2 3 5 2 3 3 0
3 3 2 3 3 0 2 0 0
*Personally I think Cm* sounds fine as a Cm but its up to you
The chord I refer to as (C up 2 frets) is just:
0
[3]0
[4]
[5]0
I couldn't find a name for it.
Intro: G1 G2 G3
Verse: Palm Mute All Chords
Bm Cm*
I could catch up to - to where you are
see if [G3]we can make it r[Em]ight
Bm Cm*
if I thought meeting you somewhere in the dark
was gonna [G3]shed any new [Em]light
Bm Cm*
Oh we'd sit around, we'd talk awhile
Make po[G3]lite excus[Em]es
Bm Cm*
But the cat has my tounge, i'm not saying much
'Cause i get [G3]shy around bullshi[Em]t
Brief Interlude: Let chords ring
Bm - Cm* - G3
Verse: Palm mute again
Bm Cm*
My new time piece is watching ice melt
Down the [G3]bottom of my [Em]glass
Bm Cm*
And i love to watch, when fuses burn
Down t[G3]owards their future [Em]plans
Bm Cm*
gets me thinking bout - it's time to empty out
these [G3]pockets of their idle [Em]hands
Bm Cm* G D G
and sing la da dadida da da, dada da
( Tab from: http://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/p/paul_dempsey/theme_from_nice_guy_crd_ver_3.html )
[C]Lock all the doors, pull the phone from the wall, run and[Em] hid[G]e
C Em C (C up 2 frets)
Oh I used to be such a nice guy
Brief Interlude: Let chords ring
Bm - Cm* - G3
Bm Cm*
Maybe clarity will creep up on me
and re[G3]set my senses like a [Em]clock
Gm Cm*
and you'll convince me that your reality
is [G3]better than the one that I’ve [Em]got
Bm Cm*
you'll give me a second chance at my second chance
and we will [G3]laugh about my near [Em]miss
Bm Cm*
and the good lord will reward my ignorance
with a little [G]bliss[D]
And I'll [C]see a welcome [C]face in the [C]mirror that I don't
Recog[Em]ni-----[G]ise
C Em C (C shifted 2 frets up)
Oh I used to be such a nice guy
but now the [C]details are vague, it's so [C]strange, like a
previous [Em]li – i – i - [G]ife
C Em C (C shifted 2 frets up)
Oh I used to be such a nice guy
But I don't [C]know when to admit that I'm [Em]lost -
when to [C]stubbornly insist that I'm [Em]not
Em (C shifted 2 frets up)
Oh dear bless every thought in your thoughtful head
Bm – Cm* - G3
Bm Cm* G
la da dadida da da, dadada
Bm Cm* G D
