Amazing Things Sarah Blasko
Another song that I've been wanting to play with my band, but of course I can'y perform
all of the songs I figure out, hahaha - as usual I figured out this song out on my piano
- this one took a while for me to get used to because of the constant change in chord
progressions, but I'm rambling...hope you can make use of this guys! :D
Intro: Am Em Am Em
[Am]Fallen like a soldier, tragically you are at war
You think you’re [Em]not
[Am]Caught within a fragment of yourself
Do you think you’re something you are [Em]not?
You [Am]look like a lover
You feel like a nervous wre[Em]ck
It [Am]cuts in the night
It hurts like an over[Em]sight
[A]You long to feel the most [E]amazing things
But you’ve [A]come undone ‘cause you have [E]held it in
Your e[C#m]yes have seen the most a[F#m]mazing things[E]
[Am]Falling like a rock into an ocean
There is something you for[Em]got
[Am]Only you decided that you had to go and fight
Until you [Em]lost
( Tab from: http://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/s/sarah_blasko/amazing_things_crd_ver_2.html )
[Am]You look like a fighter
You couldn’t recognise yourse[Em]lf
Now you’re [Am]cursing the night
You’re watching the seconds die[Em]
You [A]long to feel the most am[E]azing things
But you’ve [A]come undone ‘cause you have [F#m]held it i[E]n
And your [A]eyes have seen the most am[E]azing things
And this [F#m]love you [C#m]fear is such a [A]precious thing[E]
Tonight[A]
Tonight[E]
Tonight[A]
Tonight[E]
You [A]long to feel the most am[E]azing things
But you’ve [A]come undone ‘cause you have [F#m]held it i[E]n
And your [A]eyes have seen the most am[F#m]azing things
[C#m]And so
[A]Oh, so[E]
If you find any discrepancies with the C#m/F#m chords, try the other and see if it
sounds better, I may have made a mistake labelling the C#m/F#m chords, but I'm quite sure
they're in the right places, enjoy!
