This man is an amazing artist. If you haven't heard much go get some of him. If you
the chance go see him live. Every time I've seen him he captivates the crowd. He plays a
of banjo and really strips things down to their core. Amazing. I am posting this to
to get the ball rolling on him and hopefully someone can better me or post different
maybe even some banjo stuff (if you can on here and, if not, email me).

same progression the rest of the song.
Lyrics (I'm pretty sure this is what he says. A couple words are hard for me to
because of his deep voice and the twang).
Verse:
Well midnight rang out like a bell
My heart sunk like a ship
Deliver me from this hell before I slip
Well my lungs can longer breathe
And my legs can no longer run
The only thing I need is for this day to be done
Chorus:
And the bluebirds can sing but the crows got the soul
And I'm a dog among kings with no self control
And the only thing left is to try to live
With sins on my back no one could forgive
Verse:
Well the sun shines behind us
And the storm is rollin in
And we need somethin to remind us how to feel again
Second Chorus:
And the bluebirds can sing but the crows got the soul
And I'm a dog among kings with no self control
And the only thing left is to try to live
With sins on my back no one could forgive
And I'm out on a rig before that bow breaks
Have one final memory of my mistakes
And when midnight fell, dropped like a stone
Got a short fuse to burn and I'm a long way from home
Feel free to email me and give corrections or maybe some banjo tabs. Thanks, have fun.
