Okay I won't bullshit you. This is a fuckin' hard song! If you have
just started playing I wouldn't recommend this yet. TK is broken into tons
of parts. Verse "Once was a magical place", Chorus "They pay homage to a
King", Bridge 1 "Welcome to the Tragic Kingdom", The Chromatic jam that
immediately follows those lines. Are you still with me? Next there is the
variation and peak of the song "They lost their heads". Immediately
following that is the final part "Hypnotised by fireflies they glow in the
dark". Oh yeah and one more part right after Gwen says "Midgets who disguise
themselves as tiny little dwarfs" I forgot the exact lyrics and in case you
didn't know my ex girlfriend stole my TK cd(it's shameful I know).

This is the hardest part. It's a chromatic dance rooted on the third
fourth and fifth strings. Play it very slowly!!!!! It's a pattern, just
memorize how it goes and apply it.
This is the pattern. I'm starting it on the 9th fret of the fifth string
this is where it will start in the song as well.

Take this patern and move it down one fret every time you repeat.
Once you get to the last repetition stop on what the sixth fret
position of the 3rd string would be (which in this case is

Folowing this to lead into the guitar solo they use a basic variation
of the verse. I won't write it because you can hear it easily. Just
use your ears and only use the notes from the verse section.
As for the guitar solo it is immensely difficult if you can't tap guitar.
I can tap but writing it is very long and repetitive (I'm quite lazy).
If you know how to tap properly then you won't have any problem sounding
it out because it's only I think three or four notes long. Just catch the
pattern and memorize it. I have faith that "You can do it"
I think that pretty much covers it. The ending is just the Chromatic dance
only speeding up each time. If you get used to the pattern it's very easy.
Oh yeah and also they start on a different starting note. It's just the
same notes as "Welcome to the Tragic Kingdom" only using the chromatic
pattern.
