I would have to listen to the cut again (I don't' have it), but I play the G. You may be right, tho. Also, I don't write tablature, but I play the intro (starting point) 2nd string fret 10 3rd string fret 11, add one note and switch to 1,2,3 string frets 9,10 11. I also tune string 6 down to 'D' (drop tune) to add the bass.
