The first verse should be
G, C, G, C;
G, C, D.
Then repeat for all versus.
Chorus is, (beginning with "The answer my friend is . . . ");
C, D, G, Em;
C, D, G.
Very, very simple as folk is intened to be and Dylan followed.

Great song for bar chord and key change practice. Bar position for chords shown above...
G: 3 5 5 4 3 3
C: 3 3 5 5 5 3
D: 5 5 7 7 7 5
Now you can easily change keys by sliding it up and down the neck.
Tip: Play C and D with two fingers; index @ bar position & ring finger! It may sound funny at first but keep at it and you'll find the 'sweet spot'. My hands and fingers are 'average', you don't need Hendrix claws to do it!

The chords at the end of the first verse should go "Is Blowin' in the wind" G, F#/G, Em

this song seems to be played here in the wrong key as I have played it starting with C then to F back to C and ending on G, I am not a music teacher I just have a good ear.
