Five Stop Mother Superior Rain  Flaming Lips

---------------------------------------------------

[E]I was born[F#] the day[A] they shot JFK
[E]The way you look at me[F#] sucks me [A]down the sidewalk
[E]Somebody please[F#] tell this machi[A]ne I'm not a [E]machine
-chorus-

[A]My hands are in the [E]air

[A]And that's where they always [E]are
[A]You're f**ked if you do, and you're [E]f**ked if you don't
[F#]Five stop mother superior [E]rain
(E - one measure)

I was born the day they shot John Lennon's brain
And all my smiles are gettin' in the hate generation's way
Tell 'em I'm gonna go out, shoot somebody in the mouth
First thing tomorrow
My hands are in the air
And that's where they always are
You're f**ked if you do, and you're f**ked if you don't
Five stop mother superior rain
I was born the day they shot a hole in the Jesus egg
Now the rain, it's all so random
What does free will have to do with it at all?
And you can't cry, but
It really don't matter, y'end up cryin' anyway.
My hands are in the air
And that's where they always are
You're f**ked if you do, and you're f**ked if you don't

*note* There's a electric guitar part that just puts distortion
in the chords during the chorus and also does a cool distorted
slide up and down the fret board. Mess with it for a bit and you'll
figure it out, im to lazy to tab it.
