[E]Said the straight man[C7+] to the late man[G7+] where have you [Am]been[B7]
[E]I've been here a[C7+]nd I've been there an[G7+]d I've been in b[Am]etwee[B7]n
[E]I talk [G7+]to the wind [E]my words a[G7+]re all carried away
[E]I talk [G7+]to the wind [Am]the wind does n[B7]ot hear
[Am]The wind [B7]cannot hear
I am on the outside looking inside
What do I see
Much confusion desillusion all around me
I talk to the wind my words are all carried away
I talk to the wind the wind does not hear
The wind cannot hear
You don't possess me don't impress me
Just upset my mind
Can't destruct me or conduct me
Just use up my time

H7 is German notation for B7.
The Am6add9 sounds odd to me. I use Am6 instead, but it's not quite perfect either. I tried A7, as suggested, but it's not working for me either, hmmm.

What about a B7 instead of G7 after E in 'I talk to the wind...'?
And a A7 instead of Am in the bridge to B7 at 'where have you been...'? It matches ok with the second voice...
