Fishermans Blues Waterboys
[G] [F] [Am] [C]
play it twice
1st verse:
[G]I wish I was a fisherman, [F]tumbling on the sea
[Am]Far away from dry land, and it's [C]bitter memories
[G]Casting out my sweet line with [F]abandonment and love
[Am]No ceiling staring down on me, save the s[C]tarry sky above
Chorus:
With light in my [G]head, [F]and you in my [Am]arms, woo woo [C]ooh
2nd verse:
I wish I was the brake man, on a hurtling fevered train
Crashing headlong into the heartland, like a cannon in the rain
With the beating of the sleepers, and the burning of the coal
Counting the towns flashing by me, in a night that's full of soul
Chorus:
[G]I know I will be loosened, [F]from bonds that hold me fast
[Am]And the chains all hung around me will [C]fall away at last
[G]And on that fine and fateful day I will [F]take me in my hands
[Am]I will ride on that train, I will [C]be the fisherman
Repeat chorus

A few of the lyrics are slightly different on the version I've just listened to. The key one is the 'hurtling fevered' train - not diesel as the coal is burning soon after.
Casting out my sweet light
No celing bearing down on me
hurtling fevered train
The town flashing by (no me)
bonds that hold me fast
That the chains
take thee in my hand
I will ride on the train, (no and) I will be
