the lyrics to the "and there's a hand my trusty friend" part, should probably be:
And there's a hand my trusty friend,
And give's a hand o' thine,
We'll take a cup of kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
because the rest of the song is from the modern translation version, but the verse for that printed is older.
it doesn't really matter, i guess, but just for any perfectionist out there...
