Some of them knew fortune
Some of them knew fame
More of them knew hardship
Died upon the plain
They spread throughout the nation
They rode the railroad cars
Brought their songs and music
To ease their lonely hearts

Hi,

People sometimes experince difficulty phrasing the vocal at end of line 4 of opening chorus before moving to the verse as both end/start on the same chords(Am). If so, try sticking in a G chord at end of the chorus to help resolve, before moving to the verse. (Its not right, I know but sounds natural).

I also prefer to let the song end on Em at the second chorus and hold the chord to let it ring out - try it and decide for yourself!

Good luck

Robert
