Remember when3  Alan Jackson

Remember When Alan Jackson
Submitted By: Tim Langston
Remember [G]when [Em]I was [C]young and so were [D]you
And time stood [G]still [Em][C]and love was all we [D]knew
You were the [G]first, so was [Em]I
We made [C]love and then you [D]cried
Remember [G]when [Em][C][D][D]
Remember [G]when [Em]we vowed the [C]vows
And walked the [D]walk
Gave our [G]hearts, [Em]made the [C]start, and it was [D]hard
We lived and [G]learned, life threw [Em]curves
There was [C]joy, there was [D]hurt
Remember [G]when [Em][C][D][D]
Remember [G]when [Em]old ones [C]died and new were [D]born
And life was [G]changed, [Em]disas[C]sembled, rear[D]ranged
We came to[G]gether, fell [Em]apart
And [C]broke each other's [D]hearts
Remember [G]when [C][G][G7]
Remember [G]when [Em]the [C]sound of little [D]feet
Was the [G]music[Em]
We [C]danced to week to[D]week
Brought back the [G]love, we found [Em]trust
Vowed we'd [C]never give it [D]up
Remember [G]when [Em][C][D]
Remember [G]when [Em][C]thirty seemed so [D]old
Now lookin' [G]back, [Em]it's [C]just a steppin' [D]stone
To where we [G]are,
Where we've [Em]been
Said we'd [C]do it all [D]again
Remember [G]when [Em][C][D]
Remember [G]when [Em]we [C]said when we turned [D]gray
When the [G]children [Em]grow [C]up and move [D]away
We won't be [G]sad, we'll be [Em]glad
For [C]all the life we've [D]had
And we'll remember [G]when [Em][C][D]
Remember [G]when [Em][C][D]
Remember [G]when

Although I don't have the actual sheet music, I've listened to this song dozens of times and it seems there are a few errors in this transcription:

The second-to-the-last chord in the instrumental section should actually be an Esus4, not an Am.

Also, after the instrumental section in the middle, the key actually changes to A, not back to G. The chord sequence for the last three verses should be:

A Fm D E

instead of the posted G Em C D.
