Of [E]the widder's grown up daughte[A]r who of course was my step-mother.
Fathe[D]r's wife then had a son who [A]kept him on the run
And he became my grandchild for he wa[D]s my daughter's son
My wife is now my mother's mother and i[G]t makes me blue
Bec[E]ause although she is my wife,[A] she's my grandmother too.
Now i[D]f my wife is my grandmother,[A] then I'm her grandchild
And every time I think of it, it near[D]ly drives me wild
For now I have become the strangest cas[G]e you ever saw
As [E]husband of my grandmother, I [A]am my own grandpa.
