Yeah. Love this guy too. First time I heard him it brought back memories of Billy Bragg (who I also admire greatly). Like Bragg, I prefer the solo versions of the songs to the band versions. But that's just me.

Thanks for that. That's great stuff. Another example of how shameful it is that so many great singer songwriters remain unheard of and unsigned with all the horrid acts in record stores.....

I know this may be in the wrong forum or something but just wanted to let you guys see this chap. Especially my American and Canadian friends who may not have heard of him as yet......in the same way that plenty of Brits probably haven't either

The name of the act is: Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly

He's fantastic in my opinion and I've got a couple of his albums which I can't recommend enough. I also saw him at T in The Park last summer and his performance was so moving he actually brought a tear to me eye (although I had been overdoing it a wee bit and was slightly "Tired and emotional").
