On further investigation I'm now leaning towards something like the zoom a2.1u pedal. Looks quite cool. Any thoughts, anyone.

Thanks Bushy, I realise that it's not an acoustic amp, I was just wondering if it would sound ok. I've been looking for an amp with lots of toys on it like loops and rhythms and maybe even a recording function but they all seem to be geared towards electric. The search continues. Thanks again

Alvee,
The g-dec is not an accoustic amp. I did have one, didn't like it so went and bought an Ibanez TA 35 accoustic amp and sold the g-dec. I have had the TA 35 for about 3 years now and have no plans to let it go.
