Personally I keep all my nails short, especially on my fretting hand. For tapping it's like everything else, it's gonna be a matter of personal prefrence. I'd imagine it would be easier if they were short though.

I was just wondering if anyone had some tips for tapping, my main question being about the fingernail length for tapping fingers:long or short?? any other tapping tips would be helpful.
