I am so completely dis-satisfied with this recording - but given that it's November 19th and this was the October song, I suppose I shouldn't keep working it. I will, of course, but it will be too late for you. So, come to a riverside campfire somewhere in Virginia next summer and maybe you'll hear an improvement. Or maybe you won't.

HI everyone ............. i have put up my very quick and to be honest, horrible version of TAKE IT EASY on Sound Cloud. Literally tonight was the only chance i have had to try one of these two songs and as i don`t know Ripple that well, i thought i would try this one before heading away tomorrow for a week. I truly struggled with this one as i have a very sore throat which has decided to come before i head away tomorrow (very annoying). Anyway, at least I attempted one of them b4 i go ............see you when i get back.

Practice is going poorly. I am swamped by work, kids, and volunteer activities. I'll keep working on it, though. It's an interesting song. It sounds simple enough, but is really challenging to get the verses right on the tail of the chorus each time without even a run-up note, and the melody is simple enough but is plumb evading me picking it out on guitar even when I have found some decent tabs for it.

If I don't get it during October, it may just get posted to Soundcloud at a later time. Hard to say.
