Yay, I missed the floods! I live quite high up in Cambridge, I'll be okay. The weather is classic English weather all the same, OH wait no it's not it's quite nice out! My sympathy is with anyone affevted by the floods though. I don't need cheering up today for some reason. I just noticed the bizzarre change in weather I'm off, see you! Good choice of songs anyway.

I love topics like this, as you might know, I have a few similar topics, in Chordie's chat corner too, and they are all titled facts.
- SINGING IN THE RAIN: Gene Kelly, a movie song, end 4ties, or 5ties?
- SPRING, SUMMER, WINTER and FALL: by Aphrodite's Child, for those who don't know this band, they are a band in the sixties, 3 members, having a few real "goosebump" songs, like I Want To Leave and here another song fitting here, a very "PACHELBEL: CANON OF pachelbel to be specific, orientated song RAIN & TEARS. Maybe if I write the name of 2 members: VANGELIS and DEMIS ROUSSOS, a bell start ringing.
- NOVEMBER RAIN by GUNs' & ROSES.
- FOUR SEASONS in ONE DAY by Crowded House
- ITS RAINING MEN by different performers, but I am not sure: Geri Halliwell (ex spice girl)
- WEATHER WITH YOU by crowded house again
- SHE'S A RAINBOW: by The Rolling Stones
- RIDERS ON THE STORM by The Doors
- FOUR SEASONS by Vivaldi (classic composer, a few 100 years ago)
- The RAINSONG, by LED ZEPPELIN
- ABOUT TO RAIN by Neil Young
- ALL I NEEDED WAS THE RAIN by Elvis Presley
- ALABAMA RAIN by Jim Croce
- IT NEVER RAINS IN (SOUTHERN) CALIFORNIA by Albert Hammond
- BABY CAN YOU STOP THE RAIN by Luther Vandross
- HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THE RAIN by Creedence Clearwater Revival
- I CAN'T STAND THE RAIN by TINA TURNER, there are far more performers
- NAKED IN THE RAIN by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I also add the name of a group, where the late Jaco Pastorius was a member: WEATHER REPORT

If you like I can add a lot more, but it is really a nice topic, please enjoy and continue

London Calling - The Clash (I live by the river) - use a barre chord to get that attacking E chord.

Stormy Weather - C chord then lift of first finger then Dm7 but pluck the A string as root not D, then up to open G. Sounds cool.

Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head - Another great song.

Rain has inspired some of the best music, wonder what will result from 2007?
