I completely agree with what CG has said. I personally feel that he could achieve all of the notes he wants with (a) proper tuning, and (b) learning how to bend strings. On a standard guitar, anyone can bend almost any note up one semi-tone (or more) without much effort. Although it's a really interesting concept he's demonstrating, it seems like he's "reinventing the clock just to find out what time it is" (quoting my late Grandfather).

Segovia who inspired thousands how to play true classical guitar. He also understood very well how to properly tune a guitar. If you look at this guy's guitars the half notes are frets he added himself. He should have spent some money on a good turner.

Segovia would have understood perfectly everything that guy was talking about. I actually had to read the Turkish sub-titles and only managed to get that he built his guitar that way to be able to get around the intonation problems encountered when playing music composed for an entirely different kind of instrument on a "western" guitar, with an altered tuning.
Nonetheless, he played well and the tunes/tones, almost made me "homesick". Music of my childhood, street musicians, cafes & tea houses..... warm nights and simpler times.

Teshekur

This guy plays Micro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRsSjh5TTqI

Another guy on another YouTube vid played atonally.

I just sing atonally. Occasionally I sing anally

All those fixed frets. I wonder what Maestro Segovia would have done/said?

So I watched this guy, looked and listened; sighed and went back to practicing my B and B7.

Bill
