Wow, that's a blast from the past ... I was in High School when that song came out, and I remember we all used to laugh about it.

Years later, I was doing a music workshop and the co-ordinator Gary mentioned this song - our job was to write and record a song that ended up on a cassette. He said not to be too cliche, otherwise we would end up like Joe Dolce who was a serious musician, but everytime he played a gig, everyone wanted to hear "Shut upa ya face" over and over ... and none of his other tunes.

I remember when this used to play at the local roller-rink. Loved this song! Just happened to think of it the other day. So fun to hear it again.
