I like Louis Armstrongs Jazz stuff and I like Amy Winehouse jazz style though she did cross into other genres as well. I like some jazz but I find a lot of it just to slow for me.

My favorite Jazz performance is this one by Cab Calloway.

Although I like other Jazz songs better ( especially a bunch by Louis Armstrong and John Coltrane)
this remains my favorite to watch

you seem to have a huge network of musical contacts.
i like a bit of jazz Diana Krall is my go to at the moment.
one of my favorite songs is beyond the sea which is more swing type of jazz.
i also enjoy country swing. most music is pretty good.

Went to a progressive jazz concert in Greece once that some freinds organised . Another freind turned up part way through the first set and said , when are they starting , I said they are playing now ,she said I thought they were tuning up . To be honest it did seem like all three members were playing different tunes at the same time . LOL
How ever I did get chance to play with a couple of guys who used to play at Ronnie Scotts in London both terriffic sax players . Sadly one passed a few weeks ago ,RIP George Lee you were the best sax player I've ever known .

For the month for AUGUST, we are looking for DISCUSSION and SUGGESTIONS from you on JAZZ music.

We are looking for is anything you want to share about JAZZ music. We want to hear your favourites or worst JAZZ songs, why you like it or don`t like it. Your favourite JAZZ artist or JAZZ band. Anything you can think of and want to discuss regarding JAZZ.

Feel free to share videos or links of any of your favourite JAZZ artists or bands with us on here but don’t share your own performances until the month of AUGUST.

Hope to see some Original JAZZ songs written by any of you and entered here so that when AUGUST arrives, people have had time to practice them or attempt your original JAZZ song and enter them next month.
