If I click on my name in the forum, I get to see a very brief profile; how long I've been a member, how many posts etc. The last item on the list is gender, female. When I signed up it didn't ask me for my gender, and there seems to be nowhere to edit it.

Out of curiosity I looked at a few other people's profiles. Some show "female" and some show none at all.

Sorry for not giving this important issue more attention. I guess it is easier for me to fix this here than asking you to fix the discrepancy on your side.

Charlotte: Changing a name is actually a bit tricky. It is easiest if you open an account in a new name you like (I would not recommend a name like "Cindy", as you might not like it in the long run), and mail me the new name (admin@chordie.com). Then I'll copy your songbooks to the new account.

As to everybody getting listed as female: Where do you see that? I havent written the code for this forum, and I do not know all the functions.

That's it then, no reply. Going down the pub tonight to tell my mates my new name!.My birthday and Xmas should be interesting, instead of the customary pint from the guys I suppose it will be nail polish, perfume and several pairs of tights.

Can one change ones name as Charlotte does not really suit a 6ft 1in tall 15 stone guy. Don't even ask how I chose this name.
