'Tom Dooley' is a song that I often use as a first guitar lesson song as it is only two chords (of course I remember the Lonnie Donegan version) so here it is in 'G' for you. G and D7 are the first two chords I teach, then a student can go home after his/her first lesson and have a song to play, I also use 'He's Got The Whole World in His Hands' which is another two chord song. ![]()
