Hi Ken and welcome to Chordie,

I have just checked songs, in My Songbook and songs from the library, and the 'Auto-scroll' is working fine for me on my laptop running Windows 10. You say you have downloaded the songs to your laptop but the 'Auto-scroll' will only work within Chordie, once you take them out of Chordie there is no 'Auto-scroll'.

Canadian singer/songwriter Amy Sky is a brilliant, little heard of artiste.

Birch Beer is great and so is Mountain Dew, they were my two favourite tipples whilst Amy and Jim put up with my invasion smile.

Incidentally I brought several Birch Beers back home and gave then to my students to try and not one of them really liked it (wish I had kept them for myself now). I still have one can left in my fridge for a special occasion.

I like the Chordiestock banner for 'Breaking News' but I cannot get it to reduce to 320x60. I can get it to 320x100 so I think another shot with a little more of the background showing at the sides is needed to show the complete banner at the required size, that is, unless Amy has some tricks up her sleeve. smile

Here Bill is a song for you to play to Dondra. It is really from a daughter to her mother but the chorus is very apt for you:

I was hopeful that things were getting better for the two of you when I spoke to Dondra but you seem to have been going though the mill again. It really is about time that have less troubles.

Thoughts and prayers with you both.

How about my two mandolins for the 'Mandolin Collections'?

Looking at my photo I think you guys have slightly exceeded the 263x200 pixel size lol

I prefer the second one of Graham's.

As I have a camera in my hand and not a guitar it would probably be more suitable for 'Breaking News' lol

I have just spoken to Dondra. She has had 4 days in hospital again and got home last night but she assures me she is feeling well now. Although it was 11:10 when I rang, Bill was still in bed so I did not get chance to speak to him but he is fine. He has probably had his hands full with the hospital. We will probably hear from him later.

You 'publish' your own songbook to make it public but you 'import' another's songbook into your's.

Hi Arthur,

If you look at the bottom of the song list in the Songbook you like you can 'import' the entire book to 'My Songbook' so you do not have to search for it, however I think that printing has to be done individually.

Super glue is fine, as long as you let it dry well first. Pick up your guitar too soon and you would have to have it surgically removed from your fingers lol

Hi Bobby and welcome to Chordie,

It will not show up automatically very quickly, the quickest way is to nip into 'Resources' and the second item is 'Add songs to the index'. Open that and add the URL, it still will not happen overnight though. smile

Maybe you are trying to hold your finger flat across the fretboard when it should be rolled back at about a 45 degree rotation to use a flatter, less fleshy part of your index finger.

It was such a blast that I was hoping to be able to make it again in 2016 to meet everyone again (including the very pretty neighbour smile ) but I am afraid it looks extremely unlikely. sad
