Hey Bill - Nope.  Per the directions - these are photos that will be used for a NEW feature coming to Chordie -- VERY SOON -- that will list out the Top Songs searched for specific categories.  The photos will be used as a category heading.  I really think your outfit looks very country/western.  So, if you're cool with that, I think that'd be the best category for it out of those available.

Alright folks - this thing is coming to a close.  I'm submitting everyone's photos that follow the guidelines into the head chief (aka admin better known as Per).  Of course, the final decision on which photos will or will not be used and where they will or will not be used is up to him.  He might not use any - and he might even use them all... I don't know... but I have a feeling we will find out very SOOOOOON!

Hey NELA - if I remember correctly, you've got a slowish internet connection.  That's probably why you're having issues with youtube - it takes a bit of bandwidth/speed to get those videos to play.  Amazon has the song available to buy on MP3 - but even better, you should be able to listen to a portion of the song for free from their purchase page. 

Go to the link below, scroll down a little, under the album art you'll see the song title and a little sideways triangle to play the song.  It won't play the whole thing, but maybe it'll be enough with the chords RickyJack provided to get ya on track!  Good luck! (of course, you could buy the stinking mp3 for like 89 cents and hear the whole thing too... but, I'm just suggesting hearing the preview so you can listen for free in a way that should work for ya).

It's all good.  Takamine's are nice, and that sounds like a good deal!  Plus, the Martin is still in the works ... I hope you didn't have to cut into the Martin savings too much though!

As I was grabbing these off the internet, dependent upon the service each of you used, the files I was able to save may not have been the best quality... then I had to resize them... many may appear a bit wonky.  These photos all looked great at their original resolution, so when the winners are determined we just might need the originals resent via email or some other method to ensure the best possible picture quality (and I'll be able to edit the photos a bit better too, including redoing the cropping to the best possible location).

There are a few I put Question Marks next to, this means I'm not sure what category you were going for.  Please, comment... that'd be BILL, and JJJ! 

Also, if I screwed up and put the wrong category or you'd like to change your mind, PLEASE DO let me know!  :) 

BGD - you had put a few up that went along with certain Forum categories... we actually need photos for the NEW COMING SOON "Top Songs" categories.  I get it, you were excited!  :)  Take a look again at the first post, ad let me know which ones you want to submit to which Top Songs categories and I'll edit this post to add them in!  :)  BTW, I personally really like the one of you alone, eyes closed, singing in the mic! 

If I missed any (other than BGD's) please call me out on it and point me to the location needed... sometimes, I are blonde.  ;)

Roger and UJB - you are included in photos submitted by other people.  If you don't want those photos used, let me know (privately is fine if you're shy - which is funny because I've met you both and neither of you is shy, but you're both gentlemen)!

Awesome photos guys (and Jandle, although I posted that one... well... I couldn't leave us gals out)!  Keep them coming!

Only one thing to mention... for any of the photos to be used, you need to make certain that you have EXPLICIT permission from anyone in the photos to use the photo for any possible reason that our almighty admin may deem to use it! This can become a huge legal issue later on down the road, and it's the reason the suggestion was to make certain the photo is only of yourself.  It's kind of difficult to say, "eh, it's fine, Jimmy Jo Bob won't mind" - and then to have our amazing admin get sued a year from now because Jimmy Jo Bob became famous and wants his cut from the profits of Chordie (which, for the record, I don't think any profits exist.  Yes, there are ads on the site - but - running a website like this isn't free either.  I highly doubt there's a profit margin when one considers the coding time, etc put into this website either.  If there is, then I say Kudos!  He deserves it!  It's still free for us!). 

Anyway - That's just my little reminder.  I don't know what pics our admin will choose.  That's up to him, as is any possible legal ramifications.  If you'd like those photos considered though, please make sure you talk to the other people in them and ensure that they are in agreement to have their image used!    AND - make sure you make a note here on the forums that you've done so! Cross the T's and dot those I's!

I'll be back later or tomorrow to try to organize these a little, resize them, make sure we have the suggestions for categories correct, all that jazz!  If you didn't submit a suggested category and there's one you'd like your photo included in, please do mention that! 

UJB - I've saved most of the jars for you!  I expect to see you SOMETIME next year and will happily return them!    I might even bake more cookies.

I didn't resize those yet, but I did a few of mine.  I'll probably just go through everyone's posts later (or tomorrow on my day off) and resize all the submissions.

Oh yeah, and I forgot... happy NGD!  You're gonna have to teach me how to play one of these things though.  I have one, and I get lost every time I pick it up.  LOL!  I keep trying, but there's knobs to spin and buttons to switch and then stuff to plug it into that has buttons and knobs and pedals and switches.
