Hi Bill, in the 12 or so  years I have been with Chordie I have never subscribed to a thread so I have no idea how (and if) it works. smile

I will do so now and see what happens, so please bear with me for a day or so while I check it out.

Roger

P.S. I have subscribed to this and the 'Friday Blues Fix' which regularly gets an update so I will see what happens now.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Roger

I think my neighbour started peeling onions while I was listening to this......

Through this forum we get to know each other from the comments and views expressed and we often use the term family as that is how it seems. Probably, because as musicians we have to be able to feel and express the emotions of the songs we sing, we gain the empathy to feel and care for others we know.

We are too far away to give any physical help so we try to support in whatever way we can, so if you want music, we can at least send you a little of that. smile

Wishing you a speedy recovery Dondra.

Roger

I dropped the photo from Facebook in for you smile

Fine looking investment to me.

Hi,

Transposition is working fine, I have just checked on my laptop.

You do not say, but I suspect you are using one of these new fangled , multi tasking implements (that never do anything properly smile ) and not a PC or laptop.

Drop a line to admin@chordie.com explaining your problem but you must include what equipment you are using and what operating system.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dondra and your self and I am hoping the medics can soon find a solution to the recurring problem.

Roger

P.S. Glad you have mastered the tablet, we get worried when we don't hear from you.

I have eight guitars here and two in the UK but only two ukuleles so I have mild case of G.A.S. and I am in training for U.A.S.

I might go to a store I know and have them print me up a 'T' shirt like this though. smile

And yes Liz we do get guitarists here on Chordie also lol

It is not a Chordie 'T' shirt but I believe they are available on-line.

I have to agree Doug.

Liz has been with us a long time and she does not post very often, but when she does it is usually a 'gem'. smile

I am glad you made the right choice (I'm afraid I did not but then again, maybe it is me) smile

Anyway, perhaps this is the next song you should learn to sing to her:

Welcome to Chordie Punkrawker,

When I first saw your post I thought that punk might have been an influence in your life, perhaps I am psychic or something. lol

Many of us like various type of music, I am not keen on opera and I think that rap is so non music it should be spelt with a capital 'C'.

Nice to have you join us, make yourself at home,

Nice guitar and, from the gleam in the eye of the model displaying it, I think she might want to claim it as hers. smile

Roger

Hi Dave,

One of my thoughts answered! You are using the same string gauge and that can make a difference to how a guitar will feel.

The other thing that comes to mind is that it could be is the shape of the neck. I dislike playing Gibson guitars as their neck does not feel comfortable in my hands and your two guitars could have different neck profiles. Just a thought.

Roger

Hi Dave,

Welcome to the forum. I would take both guitars in so that the luthier can see, and feel, the difference to know what you are looking for.

Please keep us posted on progress.
