My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Roger
I think my neighbour started peeling onions while I was listening to this......
Roger
Through this forum we get to know each other from the comments and views expressed and we often use the term family as that is how it seems. Probably, because as musicians we have to be able to feel and express the emotions of the songs we sing, we gain the empathy to feel and care for others we know.
We are too far away to give any physical help so we try to support in whatever way we can, so if you want music, we can at least send you a little of that. ![]()
Wishing you a speedy recovery Dondra.
Roger
I dropped the photo from Facebook in for you ![]()
Fine looking investment to me.
Roger
Hi,
Transposition is working fine, I have just checked on my laptop.
You do not say, but I suspect you are using one of these new fangled , multi tasking implements (that never do anything properly
) and not a PC or laptop.
Drop a line to admin@chordie.com explaining your problem but you must include what equipment you are using and what operating system.
Roger
My thoughts and prayers are with Dondra and your self and I am hoping the medics can soon find a solution to the recurring problem.
Roger
P.S. Glad you have mastered the tablet, we get worried when we don't hear from you.
I have eight guitars here and two in the UK but only two ukuleles so I have mild case of G.A.S. and I am in training for U.A.S.
I might go to a store I know and have them print me up a 'T' shirt like this though. ![]()
And yes Liz we do get guitarists here on Chordie also ![]()
Roger
What you ask cannot be done but there is a way round so I will write to Bill about this now Pete.
Roger
**Edit to add** Just e-mailed Bill and awaiting his reply.
It is not a Chordie 'T' shirt but I believe they are available on-line.
Roger
I have to agree Doug.
Liz has been with us a long time and she does not post very often, but when she does it is usually a 'gem'. ![]()
Roger
Sorry that Dondra is unwell again. Wishing her a speedy recovery, and you take care of yourself too Bill.
Roger
Great to hear from you Dondra, Happy Birthday and I am pleased you now are back home.
Here is a birthday kiss for you ![]()

Roger
I am glad you made the right choice (I'm afraid I did not but then again, maybe it is me) ![]()
Anyway, perhaps this is the next song you should learn to sing to her:

Welcome to Chordie Punkrawker,
When I first saw your post I thought that punk might have been an influence in your life, perhaps I am psychic or something. ![]()
Many of us like various type of music, I am not keen on opera and I think that rap is so non music it should be spelt with a capital 'C'.
Nice to have you join us, make yourself at home,
Roger
It sounds good. It plays smooth.
To me that says it all.

Big hug for Dondra,

Roger
Not all English men are as mad as me...
... but I am, of course...... ![]()
Roger
Nice guitar and, from the gleam in the eye of the model displaying it, I think she might want to claim it as hers. ![]()
Roger
Hi Dave,
One of my thoughts answered! You are using the same string gauge and that can make a difference to how a guitar will feel.
The other thing that comes to mind is that it could be is the shape of the neck. I dislike playing Gibson guitars as their neck does not feel comfortable in my hands and your two guitars could have different neck profiles. Just a thought.
Roger
Hi Dave,
Welcome to the forum. I would take both guitars in so that the luthier can see, and feel, the difference to know what you are looking for.
Please keep us posted on progress.
Roger
Happy Birthday to you too Joey.
Roger
Happy Birthday Dino. Have a great time
Roger
My goodness you have had a very rough few days but looks like you have turned the corner. Wishing you a speedy recovery (but do not try and do too much too fast).
Roger
