Sounds awesome, Russell ... and great playing also!

I've tried both the C9 and B9 and am saving coin for the B9. I just have to have that Cathedral pipe organ sound. Being a prog rock & classical fan, there's a whole pipe organ repertoire I love. I'm currently using the Slow Burn setting on my Boss ME-80 for that stuff, along with lots of Chorus and Reverb ... but the pipe organ will be amazing.

Where do you have it set up in your signal path? I'm currently running Guitar >>> ME80 >>> Amp Input, and was thinking of hooking the B9 through the separate Effects Loop. However, the Electro-Harmonix website says that using an amp's Effects Loop will compromise the B9's performance. What's your advice?

Thanks for the delicious appetizer!

Thank you TF for giving a listen and your comments, I may get the B9 and add a switch to use both at the same time. My routing signal is:
Guitar>>ME-50>>C9>>amp 1 and C9 (dry output) >>amp 2. Amp 1 is a Sonic PA 100 watt with 2 12" speaker cabinets and amp 2 is a 50 watt Epiphone with a 12" speaker (no effects) I blend the volumes of both amps to get a nice stereo effect it really sounds cool on the stereo Chorus settings very spacious smile

Comment left, great sound, Russell.

Is that a wider then normal neck, or is it just my screwed-up eyes again?

Thanks for the share!

Bill

Thanks Bill Yes the neck on a new Les Paul Deluxe is much different then the Les Paul standard it is wider and tappered and the nut is zero tolerance it has the GForce auto tuner and a new humbucker design with a mini toggle volume boost it plays effortlessly with a lot of bite if i want it. The C9 effect is fantastic love it! smile

Look at those Paul McCartney eyebrows! Were you the band's "eyecandy"? And one more question: Are those folds in the picture, or did someone get mad at you?

You don't have to answer that last one, Russell! wink

The photo is very old and was not placed in a album so it suffered a tad and we all had our share of admirers smile

Ya that's the one that was great and Steve Buscume as the younger brother! Has anyone seen Jerome, I have not seen him post an chordie for a couple of weeks now?

I think he is licking his wounds and still scratching his head over the pass selection instead of running Lynch, seriously I chatted with him on Facebook and he has been busy traveling for his job other then that he's fine

Thanks Russell, I was wondering because he has not been not seen him for a long time. I think a lot of us are  wondering the same thing. I see that Aaron rogers has been chosen MVP for this year!

He earned it! great QB and future hall of famer

I was with Johnny Green and the Greenmen in Honolulu and we opened for DC5 this would have been around the mid 60s or so they wore there very high collars and I could tell they were uncomfortable but they played a good set

So far it has been a mild winter in Wisconsin where I live we did have several days of sub zero that were uncomfortable but snowfall so far is far below average only about 3 or 4 inches has fallen the entire winter (so far) but living in Wisconsin we know that can change in a heartbeat

This is an age old debate.

A harpsichord is considered a stringed instrument because the plectrum actually pluck the strings, whereas piano strings produce a note when they're struck, like a xylophone or glockenspiel ... and they're considered percussion instruments.

In the end, who really cares where we put them in our classification systems? It's all about the music!

I agree. I am still trying too figure out the chicken or the egg thing.

I looked it up the embryo forms the shell around it strange but true

So this is starting to get complicated (and potentially expensive). The C9 and the B9 have different menus, and each of them has one tone that I dearly want, which isn't on the other (grrrrrr). The C9's "Lord Purple" is awesome, but the B9 has the "Cathedral" setting for a pipe organ, which is amazing:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98u-MDTKAWU  (listen at the 4:50 mark)

Be nice if they had a single unit that combined both, but the B9 gets close to Jon Lord's tone in the "Octaves" setting. And I suspect the "Classic Rock" setting run through the "Lead" channel on my amp will do something similar.

P.S. The voice-over clip at the start of the demo is hilarious!

I laughed at that too lol you can get a switch that lets you use both effects

twice they had the ball on the 1 foot line and on fourth the kicked a field goal I think they should have gone for it even if it didn't get a touchdown the Hawks are backed up inside there one yard line just too many poor decisions like after intercepting the ball the guy slides and lays down instead of gaining more yards and possibly scoring the killer was the onside kick they should have called a time out and talked it over as to who would block and who would go for the ball they shot themselves in the foot.

Russell  I am loving it well done all thw way around,(split screens, effects etc.).   Packers Seahawks  game a little later today,Go Packers!!

Thanks dino I shot all the video with my webcam and mixed 10 tracks in my Tascam and used Audacity to render it to a mp3 to make it easier to work with.  I did spend over 6 hrs on the video editing started and 9pm and finished at a little past 3am.  on a side note the Packers lost on a fumbled onside kick that bounced off the guys helmet the rest is history they should have won but the planets must have been aligned wrong.  bah humbug smile
