All strings need constant tuning for a day or two.  Hang in there.  Take a pencil under the strings over the sound hole and pull up gently.  Then tune.

Learning from written strum patterns is not that easy. The best way is to watch video covers of the song you are learning on YouTube. I think this is a better method. You will fing there are many different patterns that are used for any given song and you can pick the one that is easier for you. It works.

I think it was a four string Roy Rogers model.  It didn't take me where I wanted to go.  Or maybe it did.

Bob, this is the mic system I have been using with my Alesis.

It may be a bit more expense than you are willing to go, but these mics seem to work great for me.  Good luck.  Oh, and I don't use any DAW software.

Chorpro is the format designed to do this.  Look it up on google and it will explain how it works.  I use a program called Linkesoft Songbook which is chordpro as the method to dothis.  Look it up also.  This program just brngs the chodpro songs you copy ito it and stores the songs and manages them.

He's ood.  Reminds me of Gary Moore.

I've always wondered the same thing about playing bass and singing.  I have a neighbor that plays bass and he has to turn the stereo on and play with it.  That's nice, but you can't do a whole song by yourself.  He doesn't want to change. I always explain that all I have to do is grab a guitar and siplay chords and sing and I have a song going.  he can't do that with bass. Paul McCartney does a fine job though.

Absolutely.  Good luck Joey.  Never give up.  You will find the right combination.

Dino, you should at least have underwear on while your mowing.  Them blades turn pretty fast.

That's about the same with me Tyson, although I do go back and try other strings once in awhile just in case I am missing anything., but I seem to always go back to Mangans

I finally tried some medium strings on one of my guitars and while I like them, somewhat, I think I will go back to medium lights.  They sound great, but not that much of difference, I guess.  The lighterstrings are just eaiser to finger and I get less buzz.

I thought I would jump in again.  I am 61.  Really enjoying my guitar and actually learning after all these years.

That would do some major damage if it hit any where.

Listen to Amy.  She's smart.

The old sad song about losing your girl.  I like these songs.  Good job, buddy.
