Thanks guys that the tuner is like an old friend,I think Russell has a tuner somewhere around the same age. BGD ya they were carved out on a stone tablet then!!
That's when rock was LITERALLY rock.
Yep!!. Phill I think I will charge up one of my 18 volt batteries for my drill and stick my tongue on it and see if it will help me restart my body.

I reported my 34 yr. old tuner was dead and I tried 3 older batteries on it.I bought a brand new battery came home and now it is working fine,Seiko makes a great tuner. I am also very happy with the D'adderio tuner it is very precise and small but plastic is a little light on it.

Ugh. I'll be drinking some coffee today. Woke up last night after only an hour and a half sleep and didn't get back to sleep until about an hour before the alarm. I should have gone fishing.
Yep you would be a lot better off,I hate no sleep work days and fishing is the cure!!

My Pats won..
Heard this on this on the radio this morning...
"What the difference between the Seahawks and a dollar,
you can get four quarters out of a dollar."....
bad joke,,, sorry Seahawks fans.....
badeye
I think the Canadian quarters are not worth U.S. ones that would make there value deflated I could not resist badeye, for punishment I think I may wash my mouth out with a bar of chocolate.

I stand corrected....... darn that phonics!! But then again it does reinforce the adage that we don't pay enough attention to the spelling, as long as it has the right number of letters and the appropriate sounds at the beginning and end of the word.
Doug I wish I would have said that too all my English teachers I would have had a good excuse for my bad spelling!

I did not get too see any other games except the 49ers and later saw the colts and patriots. I am pretty sure the Seahawks will be able too but a win in for our meeting on Thursday. I saw Frank Gore last night sure do miss him. He is with the colts now.

Re: Starbucks coffee (40 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
Most coffee served here in the States would be refered to in Europe as "Cafe Americain", pretty much a 4oz demitasse watered down to something like 10oz ....... most barristas will be disgusted by the request, and some will refuse to serve it.
Starbucks, Dutch Bros., Java Joes, Coffee Culture, and many other expresso stands will have one of those expresso machines, and can put out a good cup if you order what you like (it's all in the "code" you see). I'm not really a coffee snob, but we have two roasters here in my little town, Sivetz and Allan Brothers. Along with all of the above mentioned vendors..... you can get spoiled, and beat up over pricing. My preferance is good old "home Brew" fresh ground & run through a Krups drip. I also have a small expresso machine for those occasional mochas, and guests, and can crank out a reasonable simile of a custom cup...... including the whipped cream!
For those that shop Costco, if you have ever bought the Kirkland 100% Columbian 3lb can (dark roast), it's fairly inexpensive, and roasted/ground and packaged by ...... wait for it..... Starbucks (their home base is Kirkland, WA)!! So you may have had it and not known. My advise is to buy whole beans, buy a grinder, and always use filtered (un-chlorinated low mineral) water, and refrigerate the beans to preserve freshness.
Cheers! Time for a "warm-up".....
I know when I was married we used too buy Hazlenut from there and grind it,great coffee.

Re: Starbucks coffee (40 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
I think we are spoilt here in Portugal. Every small coffee bar, snack bar and restaurant has a machine similar to this, where the coffee is made individually for you with freshly ground beans. I like expresso coffee and I struggle to find anything I like in the UK and on my visits to Canada and America, but I rarely find one I do not like here.

I never had expresso I heard it is super strong.

Why does this never happen to me?
I got lucky twice I got a takimine for $20.OO and an Epiphone amp for free when a lady came too my garage sale and bought something I helped her too her car and she asked me if I wanted it as she was taking it too goodwill and she saw my amp in the garage,I did not hesitate for a moment. My amp was out so I could play in the garage.

That's terrific news, KIR!
Those two have been through more in the last few months, than most people endure in a decade. Glad to hear Dondra's surgery went well, and we'll all be praying for a speedy and thorough recovery.
Appreciate your keeping us informed.
