Stephen Bennett  was fun to watch and enjoyed watching play. I do not understand the additional base strings that at times he plays although he is gifted.  I do not understand some of the more humorous posts. You can easily tell how serious he is abut  what and how he plays.

A pretty lady with a ton of talent! Many blues players stick with one type of guitar, but she uses a real variety ... nice to hear.

Thank you . it is nice to see someone who actually finger picks and in all the songs I listen too she never used a pick and many of the guitars are vintage models.

I just listen to Mike Dawes and although he is good I do not think he could do the same thing on a guitar without an electric pickup. He was fun to watch and anyone who listens to him will  enjoy what he does and watch him.

Thank you. and also for taking time to listen to her. Anyone who maintains blues today I have a lot of respect for them. Her schedule says a lot about how good  she is and her playing without a pick sounds as as good as I have heard .

Don Ross   is known to be a clean player and this one is a good example. Great find, and I am seeing more and more using a thumb pick both on with an election pickups. It is mostly how they trained and works best for them.  It works great for him.

This week I am featuring Cee Cee James who was an amazing  Blues Singer, and from St. Lewis, Missouri. Long story after having both both knees replaced that took 2 years  and when she was gong to come back to singing, her husband who was also the lead guitar player was diagnosed with cancer. She then took time off with him and when the scan was clean  it came back with a vengeance so he died . All though still alive, she retired and never came back to performing. In her time she won every every major award in blues singing. One person wrote if Janis Joplin ha had a daughter it would have been  Cee Cee. By the way sister became  Cee Cee so that is how she got her name.
